We are a family winery with a long history of grape growing and winemaking. Led by the vision of our vineyard manager and winemaker Ante Sladic who continues family tradition after taking over from the winery founder Marinko Sladic, we strive to achieve an exceptional quality in our wines utilizing exclusively indigenous varieties in which we unconditionally believe. We reveal their character through single varietal bottlings.

Vineyards&Wines

We are located in the village of Plastovo. Our vineyards are planted just outside the village as well as on the hills above the town of Skradin, bordering the Krka National Park. This area has a unique microclimate influenced by the Krka River and Adriatic Sea, sitting at 250 meters above sea level and it’s characterized by cool nights and ample warm, sunny days. Our lines

We have divided our wines into three lines in order to highlight different soil types, locations and viticultural practices. We are very fortunate to have such a variety of microclimates and soil types in a very small area which allows us to create a wide range of wine styles and types.

Our first line comes from the vineyards planted in rich and fertile soil on the northern slope of the hill above the town of Skradin, bordering the Krka River. The vicinity of the river and a gentle The wines from this line display elegance and freshness.

We are one of the very few wineries that makes a single varietal rose of Lasina. Lasina is a very thin skinned grape and suitable for a longer maceration of about 24 hours which allows for the full expression of its character. Fresh, elegant and lively, it bursts with aromas of flowers and red fruits with underlying minerality. Lasina is also known by the name of “Black rose“, indicating its gentle and elegant character.

This line embodies an extremely rocky and low yielding terroir of the southern slope of the hill above Skradin. Typical Mediterranean climate yields heavily concentrated, full bodied wines with an enormous aging potential.

Oils&Liqueurs

In addition to wine, we produce liqueurs and extra virgin olive oils. Our two liqueurs Black Rose and Likarija are made with our wines and a variety of wild herbs, fruits and flowers showcasing the biodiversity of our area. The best way to experience everything that Ante Sladic Winery has to offer is to spend a couple of hours with us and enjoy the tastings in an authentic setting. You’ll taste the wines and extra virgin olive oils made exclusively from the indigenous grape and olive varieties of the Skradin region as well as our liqueurs made with high quality grape brandy and wild foraged fruits and herbs. With some homemade food and a fine glass of wine, you’ll learn first hand about our winemaking philosophy.
